Ex Umbra

So I was going to post this yesterday before I went to work but I ran out of time. Here is the overview of the the book I'm writing. It's called Ex Umbra which is Latin for From Shadows.

Charlotte Stone has an ability that few have. She can see those that dwell within the shadows, The Elden. An ancient race of creatures that can not survive in the light. Vicious, secretive little beings that are known to harm humans if they find out one can see them, but they've taken a special interest in Charlotte. She's not sure why and she definitely doesn't want to find out.

It's slowly coming along. I haven't had a lot of time to just sit and write lately with work and all but I'm off all day today and Friday so maybe I'll get a chance to do some writing. Let me know what you think. I'll post some more information as I pull everything together.

Coming back to Deviant Art

So I've been away from Deviant Art for quite awhile now and I'm going to starting coming back and posting things. Mostly just what I write.
I'll post a journal entry for each thing I write to keep you guys updated on how close I am to finishing the next chapter or if I need suggestions on things. There you'll be able to post more in depth comments on the story. What you think of it as a whole instead of what you think of each chapter. I AM working on a book as well. Yes a full length book. I started it during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and as much as I'd love to post it, I'm keeping it secret until it's done. I WILL however be posting tidbits of information. Character names, and a few other things I need to remember so it's all in one place. I'll be posting updates on how it's going and if I need help with anything, I will ask here. When it IS done, however long that takes me, I would like to publish it or at least get a hard copy of it. So I'll be getting that created and anyone else that wants one will be able to get one. I'm going to see if I can get my tattoo artist, who's also a graphic designer, to create a cover for me and post it here since she has a profile.

I think she'd do an amazing job with it. Just not sure what exactly I want yet. Oh well I'm pretty far from finishing it so no need to worry about a cover yet! I'll probably post another entry after this about the book before I have to start getting ready for work. Well that's all for now, glad to be back.

Ouija Board Mishaps

OK, sssooo, I deleted my Ouija Board Mishaps story. Why you ask? Cuz I'm rewriting it that's why! 
I've come to realize a few things in that story have gone...too fast. So I need to redo some things. But have no fear! It shouldn't be gone long. I'll try to work on it as much as I can as quickly as I can. The first chapter is like half way done already. Anyway, please be patient with me and if you were reading Ouija Board Mishap you'll soon have the new and improved version!

So, I started school (community college) on thursday. So far I've only had my College writing(thursday) and math class(today). So far it's pretty easy. Math, psh, that class (so far at least) is going to be a piece of cake. College writing...maybe not so much. I'm better at writing stories then I am essays. I SUCK at essays, but of course I've alwayd scored high in english so that's why I got in college writing. (lucky me! Damn my writing ability! No wait don't, I need that!) Rawr! So, now I have to go BACK to the college (I'm at home) for my third class, psychology. Maybe I'll be the test subject. That's where I should be at least. haha. So yeah wish me luck and pray I don't end up in an asylum because they've figured out I'm not right in the head.
